JOURNAL: NICE, FRANCE

Two weeks spent in a very hot Nice with one of my best friends. We stayed in her family friends stylish apartment not too far from the town. We ate really good food and we cooked some good food and we drank a lot of beer and cheered for football even though it didn’t come home. We lazed on beaches and we got caught in the rain. We spent a lot of time singing and walking around supermarkets.

On the first day we took a picnic to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a roll filled with egg, peppers, tomato, tuna, olives, onion and relish.

A huge bowl of seafood pasta from Di Piu

After beach sangria at Cose Cosi.

A trip to Plage de Passable beach, all was okay until the rain came. Everyone fled the beach unlike us, we decided to take shelter in the beach toilets until the rain cleared and the sun came back out.

We switched up our beach days with days spent on the rocks at Plage de Coco, the sun was so hot so a cool dip was needed every half hour.

Cocktails on the ocean at Le Plongeoir just after England won a world cup game.

Climbed a lot of stairs to get an insane sunset view of Nice

A small feast at Indian Lounge

We took a bus to Eze, it was beautiful. A little hill-top town looking over the ocean. We got crepes and we had a walk around the highest jardin i’ve ever been too.
